The Diplomate in Municipal Law is an educational program that leads to the issuance of a Diplomate in New Jersey Municipal Law certificate by New Jersey Institute of Local Government Attorneys (NJILGA). The Municipal Law Diplomate Certification Series is a series of seminars that may be taken either individually or as a group to qualify for the NJILGA Diplomate Certification.
The Series is comprised of 6 courses. The courses cover a range of municipal practice areas and are taught by attorneys or professionals in their respective disciplines. The courses focus on legal aspects regularly encountered by municipal attorneys. Receiving this designation signifies a concentration and proficiency in this area of the law.
Our very own Lauren R. Staiger recently earned the Diplomate in New Jersey Local Government Law designation from the Center for Government Services of Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey and the New Jersey Institute of Local Government Attorneys (NJILGA). Completing this program has allowed Staiger to expand on her previous knowledge in this area of the law and therefore better assist in serving our municipal clients.
